Let’s Sing at Vsing with BMB!

Vsing Karaoke has just open its signature outlet in Puchong, and guess what?!? They have selected and installed BMB karaoke systems as their sound system of choice for this signature outlet. This Vsing signature outlet is the best yet from them, very beautiful, cosy and classy, with very cool décor and layout, a big stage, a huge LED screen, big stage, and lovely lighting. So it was very fitting to complete the outlet with a BMB sound system to ensure the best karaoke experience for their customers.

The whole karaoke is covered by 8 speakers, powered by 2 amplifiers and controlled by 1 processor. 1 pair of BMB CSP-612 full range 12” speakers were enough for the front system at the stage, while 4 units of BMB SP-610 full range 10” speakers were used as rear and side fills to cover the remaining areas at the corners of the venue. These were all powered by 2 BMB DAD-500 power amplifiers hidden away at the control room, while processing was done through the BMB KSP-100 sound processor to get the right sound settings and also voice effects. And to fulfil the low frequency requirements, just one single unit of Turbosound M18B 18” active subwoofer was more than enough for the whole venue, and it was quite discreetly placed to be out of the way. For the karaoke singer on stage, one unit of Turbosound M12 active 12” speaker was utilized as a stage monitor. All speakers were hung from the ceiling to free up floor space, except the subwoofer. 2 sets of Relacart ER-5100 wireless microphone systems were used, providing 4 handheld mics for the venue.

It may not seem like that there are adequate number of speakers for the venue, but the BMB and Turbosound combination were more than powerful enough to perform very well with enough headroom. This ensured great coverage, clarity and loudness for the entire venue, with audio characteristics a good mix of karaoke sound characteristics and professional sound reinforcement performance. Bass was a main concern in the beginning, but when that single Turbosound M18B was powered up, we found it more than enough, with bass frequencies reaching beyond the main entrance into the foyer area. Another area of concern were the 2 main speakers at the stage, but the CSP-612 had enough SPL and wide enough dispersion angle to cover the central audience area. The venue owners were satisfied that this system is able to provide the clarity, especially vocals, for karaoke singing, while also being able to go loud enough for playback of some hot, punchy music.
