Through our supporting business partner, we propose and supply a custom PA sound system solution to an auditorium. Brainy Bunch is an international school situated in Cyberjaya. There requirement for a audio system is quite demanding as the core subjects in the school involve a lot of activities, quality Montessori and action-orientated. Therefore, an excellent sound system is part of the MUST have system because listening, communication and focusing skills are one of the child developments.

Product demo time

It will be totally unacceptable to this private institution that the children are being bombarded with unpleasant sound. Noisy, harsh, jarring and painful sound system is a total no-no for installation in this venue. 

Despite all of the high requirement, we are reminded that the sound system is not for concert or artist usage therefore we are not required to go all out to propose the most high end product (normally it will be most expensive as well) into this venue. The message is loud and clear: the school want something better than ordinary but need not to go to the best. 

Installation time

With this in mind, we have specially curated a sound system to fit the bill. On mixing console, we uses Behringer WING digital mixer. It is on of the recent audio mixer launched into market and it is very user friendly with the operation based on touch screen or with tablet remote control. One unit S32 digital snake and one unit S16 digital snake were deployed around the stage and hall area. The combination of S32 and S16 give us maximum 48 inputs and 16 outputs. This large number if IO enable flexible type of events to be held in the auditorium from small event up to large scale choir performance.

On the loudspeaker front, Audiocenter sound system is proposed for the venue. Audiocenter is one of the upcoming brand in Malaysia and AV Electronics Marketing has been distributing the brand since 2013. A total 9 units of SA312 was bought for this school and 4 of those are deployed in the auditorium. The rest are installed into various rooms of the school. Total 5 units of Audiocenter EA5118 subwoofer was purchase and 4 of them is deployed in the auditorium. The subwoofer work perfectly well with SA312 as it provide the bass extension to the fullrange system. 

Overall, this carefully designed sound system perform exceptionally well. This system is supplied and installed in March 2020 and as per timing of this articles January 2023, there is still no failure reported.
